A ‘more’ tag should be used for all spoilers, stories over 100 words, mature content, when displaying more than one large graphic, five icons or one embedded video. The ‘more’ tag is clearly marked in the HTML posting option and somewhat more obscurely represented in the Visual option as a separated oblong. It can also be access by Alt + Shift + T.
- Content guidelines are as follows:
- Fan fiction and original stories with women in lead roles
- Well structured plots, good writing and grammar.
- Beta reading is strongly recommended.
- Humour, action, adventure, drama, angst and especially romance.
- Relationship Rules:
- Romantic/sexual relationships that are integral to the story.
- Romantic/sexual relationships between adults (18+ in both the story/artwork/video and in canon).
- Unacceptable Content:
- Hardcore pornography.
- Gratuitous depictions or rape, sexual assault, child abuse or incest.
- Real people stories, videos or graphics.
- Flames.
- Header Information:
- Place header information before the ‘more’ cut.
- No actual spoilers in the header info, but references to the season/episode, book or film should be mentioned.
- Include the title, fandom(s), pairing name(s) and any author notes.
- Rating of ‘Mature’ if the story etc. depicts sex or strong violence.
- Tags:
- Tag all posts.
- Fan-works posts should be tagged Category/Media -> Fandom i.e. Story -> CSI.
- Non fan-works posts should be tagged Category/Content type -> Fandom/Other i.e. Spoilers -> Doctor Who.
